Stages
Generally, treatment is carried out in two stages over a three-to-six-month period and requires between five and seven visits.
STAGE ONE
The first stage is to place the implant fixture into the jawbone.
STAGE TWO
The second stage is to expose the implant through the gum. Impressions are then taken for the final implant crown, bridge or denture, with the final fitting usually taking place two to three weeks later.
However…
In many cases now we can place implants on the day the tooth is taken out. If appropriate we can place a temporary tooth which looks like your old tooth on the same day. We have special site-specific implants and procedures for this procedure.

Revolutionary, transformative and preventative
Revamping your smile with dental implants that just feel natural.
Description
A dental implant is a small titanium screw that is placed into the jawbone to act as an artificial root for a crown, bridge or denture. Titanium is exceptionally strong and well accepted by the body, and our techniques allow the bone to grow into the surface of the implant in order to create a strong, natural bond that can last a lifetime.
Benefits
One of the great benefits of dental implants is that adjacent teeth remain untouched and are not used for support, thus not affecting their health. Implants can be used to replace either one or several teeth, and are the ideal solution to speech or eating problems caused by tooth loss, and to irritation associated with ill-fitting dentures.
Time-scale
Most people are suitable for implants but, because everyone is different, implant treatment methods often vary depending on the problem. Generally, our dental implant treatment is carried out in 2 stages over a 3-6 month period, requiring 5-7 visits.
